War, Defeat

We as humans thought we knew exactly what these words meant. We had no idea just how wrong we were. We  didn't know war until there was nothing else. We didn't know defeat until victory faded from memory. We learned this after losing a war to demons we summoned. Demons that knew these words far better than us, more powerful than us and much older than us. Now humanity lies at their mercy with no other choice than to obey. This went as well as any would expect, it was met with resistance. Now is the year 2076. Just how well do we believe a resistance can fare when we already lost the war and just what depths are those willing ready to sink for victory.
